Keeping your skin safe

Protecting your skin from the sun rays is important. Exposure to the sun rays is the leading cause of Skin Cancer. What can we do to protect our skin from Skin Cancer? Use sunscreen with at least SPF of 15 make sure to apply to face, body, feet apply everywhere. Make sure to apply enough must people don’t apply enough skin protection to there skin. The recommend amount to apply is a half teaspoon for your face and neck and a shot glass amount to your body. Most people forget or don’t know that you need to reapply every 2 hours. Especially, if you swimming or sweating regardless of what the label says about waterproof or not you need to reapply every 2 hours. Now I never really paid any attention to this but you should wait at least 30 minutes before going outside to make sure the product is bond with your skin. This is something I just started doing checking the expiration date of the sunscreen make sure to check date. Stay out of sun during the peak hours of 10am and 4pm also helps this is when the sun is at it strongest peak. I never wear shades but now I’m really considering wearing shades for those who do make sure they are UV-Ray shades.
